I tend to update my blog by the end of each week. And the main reason to do so is because this blog is not just to jot what I learnt in FSM4401 every week, it helps to record my semester 6 life in UPM too. This week is a fruitful week. As usual, we were exposed to new stuffs in class. We were taught on Netiquette and Etiquette in technology. Then, apps and software on photo editing were introduced, as well as tips on creating websites were given, including ethics of information technology (always the important thing to be emphasized on). Week 6 is also known as Test 1 week. And Test 1 indicates that I have to burn more midnight oil, which means sleep less. So basically, I only get to sleep 3 to 5 hours per day. That's really suffer. Anyway, Test 1 is now over, so I get good sleep. With that, it summarized my weekdays in Week 6 :)) Here comes the best part of this week. So my long awaited mid term break has finally arrived! And we got a week time to rest :)) In the previous class at past week, we were taught on the concept of "The more attractive your websites is, the higher chances the visitors will stay longer". Hence, we were exposed to the key elements of how to develop an attractive and functional websites. Geo-targeting is one of the new terms that I acquired in class. It aids in delivering information that you would like to share to others and it can cover citizens (receivers) at specific area. Then, Wayback Machine which is used to trace websites changes history, Alexa, the websites traffic statistics provider were introduced in class too. With such, we can measure the success rate of websites. Also, brainstorming session on issues like privacy, security and ethics in Information Technology was carried out in class. We were told to have a reflection slot on that later. Last, and most importantly, WaffleWaffle! at Bkt Serdang...

And another week is done! :)) Frankly speaking, this semester is quite tough for me. Things just don't go the way it should be (Yeahh Fyp especially). But anyhow, just trust and have faith that everything works out at last 💋 Basically, we learnt few new stuffs in class this week. Website development is the main one. This is something that's truly new for me as I have never been exposed to this field of knowledge before. We are told to develop and design a website on our own. Can you imagine that? It's superb! In Japanese, we say すごい 😉😊 So, after the loads of works, finally it's about time to go home. We will be having a mid term break after week 5. One more week to go, then I will be on vacatio n!

Time flies in the blink of an eye.  There are only 14 weeks in one semester and we have already stepped into our forth week. University life has been so hectic and busy :)) In this semester, we are required to take FSM4401 Information Systems for Food Industry as one of our elective courses. And we're having both lecture and practical classes for this subject in one day, Wednesday. So unfortunate that apart from this, I still have other classes, which also indicates that my Wednesdays are always fully packed, starting from 9am until 5pm. Class of FSM4401 is interesting as it provides us a platform to learn new stuffs. To be precise, the study of ICT (Web Technology). In the previous class, we are exposed to blogging . This is something fresh to us as we rely too much on social media these days, for example Facebook and Twitter. Perhaps Blogger is another good site for us to explore. Anyway, lookin g forwar d to the next lesson on this week :)) .
