WEEK 8

We were exposed to 'Blockchain' before our class started today. So, what is Blockchain?

"Blockchain is the world's leading software platform for digital assets. Offering the largest production block chain platform in the world, new technology is used and incorporated to build a radically better financial system."

While Bitcoin is one of the important components when comes to talk on Blockchain.

Bitcoin is a worldwide cryptocurrency and digital payment system. It is called the first decentralized digital currency, as the system works without a central repository or single administrator. However, all this while, this system is only being implemented in foreign countries.

Recently, Malaysia is trying to bring in and work on Blockchain. It is said to be will bring convenience to all the industries, thereby contributing to country's economic growth. As Bitcoin which acts as money in virtual form will increase the effectiveness in terms of financial flow in businesses. On the other hand, lifespan of Bitcoin is long enough (persist up to 2140) to ignore problems like coins expired before spent.

Since we're from Faculty of Food Science and Technology, to integrate the concept of Bitcoin in food industry, perhaps virtual factory can be built instead of the traditional/old types factory. Aside from that, Bitcoin can be installed to replace cashier counter to help in collecting money in the future.

During the lab session, progress on CIP had been updated. Presentation on websites will be conducted on the coming Wednesday, thus everything should be done and finalized latest by Tuesday. And we did Excel Exercise 2 in the class too. All these are really useful and definitely will be applied in workplace later.
